I like to maintain the copper color of my hair, but it's very difficult to keep the copper tones through several washings. This product is a shampoo, easy to use. You just lather it in as you would any other shampoo, then rinse it out. You don't need to wait around for developing. I like the red tones it deposited in my hair. It's not exactly copper, but it is a pretty red. It's much better than the faded look I had before using this shampoo. If you are adventurous with your hair, this product is definitely worth a try!

The shampoo has a pleasant floral scent. The shampoo is a thin black liquid. The shampoo took a bit to lather. The shampoo left my hair clean but not stripped. I have shoulder length color treated hair in an ash blonde. I also have a blue streak in my hair. I did not see a difference in the ash blonde color using this shampoo but the shampoo did turn my blue hair a shade of greenish blue.

So I was kinda scared to try this on my hair as I'm very blonde, so I had some extensions that I tried it on. This shampoo looks really dark and has ash base. After trying on the extensions I was very pleased by the color. Unfortunately the photo doesn't show to much difference but the one on the right was the one shampooed with the color shampoo. The color in person had a definite beige cool tone which is really pretty. I'm really pleased with this shampoo.

This seems to be a decent shampoo. It has a nice fragrance and I have darker hair (brown with blonde highlights). My hair is color treated and my roots are gray if not colored. It did not all alter my hair color. This is a very dark shampoo, I would call it a very dark brown color when it comes out of the bottle. It has a decent dispenser and it goes on easily and washes the hair fine.

This color-protecting shampoo is effective and can effectively maintain the color of dyed hair. After washing, the hair is shiny, soft and not dry, and the fragrance lasts. After using it, the hair feels light and I am very satisfied. It is worth repurchasing!

It's not going to turn your hair silver or grey, but it works really well as a daily toner. It doesn't stain my skin like other purple shampoo and smells pleasant. My hair is also not as dry afterwards as with other toning products. The applicator is nice and easy to use. Keeps my blonde hair ashy.

This is a good hair color shampoo. My hair is blonde and I wanted to try red , but not permanently. This shampoo worked great and my hair is a vibrant red. I like that it gradually washs out . I definitely recommend this product.

I have purple dyed hair, and it always fades out too fast. I've been using this shampoo for a couple of weeks and I haven't noticed any fading. It's a mild scent, lathers and cleans well, and hasn't stained my tub.

This is perfect for my pink hair! Doesn't dry it out at all. Leaves it soft and manageable! I'll be purchasing this again for sure!

This shampoo has a very nice scent it is like a berry flavored candy which I like, the color is a deep blue, however it did not stained my hands nor my shower tiles. It also left my hair clean but I still needed a conditioner. The reason for my three stars is that I personally did not noticed the shampoo either enhancing the blue tones in the hair, not did I noticed that it helped keep the color longer (I had a semi permanent blue because I do not want to use bleach) which it eventually fades and I was hoping that spending the $27 on this product it will help keep the blue brighter, longer but I personally did not noticed any difference. Perhaps this is not for non-bleached hair (that is why I am being generous with the tree stars) and it might work for you, but it did not work for me and for the price I was expecting more than just a nice scent and a clean head of hair.

I absolutely love ColorLomo brand Maintenance Shampoo | Prevents Fade & Enhances Color Depositing Shampoo.I have hair that is being blended to match my gray. My stylist is using beige and ashy tones instead of the bleach blonde I had been using to color over the gray.My hair is naturally an ash tone and my gray is literally the color of cool ashes.This shampoo is formulated for those of us who are using the beige blonde, ash blonde or even beige tones to highlight youthful hair or others like me who are using ash tones in our gray hair to blend it as it grows out.The purple and blue shampoos are easy to find but finding one that is Ammonia Free, Phthalate Free, Sulfate Free, Paraben Free AND formulated for beige and ashy tones is hard to find!The scent was pleasant and not overwhelming. The shampoo foamed well and was able to stay on my hair for several minutes without dripping off as I let it do its magic.I can definitely tell my color is holding better and the dinginess of flat ash was lifted off.Now I want a regular color treated shampoo and conditioner by this brand too because it's left my hair looking great!

I have a kid that dyes their hair pink on a regular basis. This product just helps keep the dye in longer. I'd be curious about a color depositing conditioner WITH it, but we have only had one or the other at a time so far. Still a great way to stretch dye days out even just a bit.... and saves my wallet too. LOL

This might be one of the best personal care purchases I have ever made. I dye my hair regularly and have always hated the prices of these shampoo and conditioners, for dismal results. This brand is such good quality it caught me off guard. It's a normal shampoo, that doesn't dye your skin at all when using. It keeps the color so vibrant I have had daily comments about how bright my purple is after a few weeks of having dyed it and using this shampoo to maintain.Exceeded my expectations by far!!

This helps to keep my moody blue hair blue, however it is very drying. So maybe an every other day or once a week. But after I use this I have fine wavy hair, I need to use a thick conditioner to untangle my shoulder length hair.

This seems to deposit a nice ashy blonde, but not enough to color my hair, just enough to keep my current color from fading. The results are even and not patchy at all.I like it a lot and and will keep using it between coloring to keep my color fresh. I'm not fond of the scent, but the smell goes away once I apply conditioner.

Works well for retaining color. It does a good job of preventing brassy tones from coming through as the dye fades.The smell is a little strange and I haven't gotten used to it yet. It smells more like men's body spray than any type of shampoo/conditioner product I've ever used. It lingers for a while too, so it'll become part of your aroma after showers.

I've had bleach blonde, dark purple, and now lavender hair over the past two years and am no stranger to purple shampoos. This one is richly purple (the pigment is very dark out of the bottle) and not thinned down. I really like that it comes with a pump dispenser so it's easier to store and get the amount of shampoo you need. The dispenser has not dripped/leaked, which is good because if that purple sits on my white tile it may stain. The shampoo itself smells faintly "salon like"—feminine but not floral. It lathered well, but I found the end result drying, as are most purple shampoos, unfortunately. My already frizzy and zapped hair needed some TLC after washing and conditioning. My lavender color is still hanging on, and you can leave this shampoo in the hair for about an hour if you want to amplify some fading purple before you wash it out.

Has a strong floral scent. I out this in my hair before I get in the shower and let it sit for a good ten minutes to let it saturate my hair. I currently have pink hair and this shampoo comes out of the bottle a deep red color. Doesn't make my hair brighter, but absolutely keeps it at the level I dyed it, and doesn't fade it at all. I wish it smelled a little less, but it works well.

I've found this works as well as the more expensive salon quality shampoos that are sold in the the beauty shops. This product has kept my salon highlights clearly defined and bright even after 8 weeks.The shampoo itself doesn't stain or leave a residue on the tub. It suds up well and smells great.I would recommend to anyone wanting to keep their blonde color bright and healthy looking.

I have blonde highlights that the tone has changed to a shade that isn't as flattering as when I first got them. I was hoping that this product would be more noticeable than it is on my hair, but I honestly didn't see much difference, if any. This would probably be better suited for those with more and lighter blonde tones than I have.The product has a pleasant scent and lathers easily without having to use an entire palm full. It doesn't stain my hands or my tub when using it in the shower. It does not leave a waxy film on my hair or leave it feeling brittle. I have no complaints about the product, it just isn't very noticeable on my hair color. I have medium brown hair with gold highlights that I would prefer to be more ash toned.

I have been using color maintenance shampoos for years and really like Coloromos alot. It keeps the brassiness away and my hair isn't dried out after use. I only need to use it once a week, which makes it very economical. A really great shampoo.

I have never had good look with color-depositing shampoos, and I think maybe that's because my hair is reddish/auburn and red is a really hard pigment to make stick? I've tried a few different brands of color-depositing shampoos and none of them really make a difference on me. I guess some people can see a subtle difference, but nothing like the effects of actually color-treating your hair.Personally I don't want to sit in the tub for a half hour while I let the shampoo do its thing, but my impatience isn't why I gave it three stars. I think products like this one advertise something they don't deliver on. This product did not "deposit color" on my hair, and I haven't seen any noticeable change in the color. It's a fine shampoo, but any shampoo can clean your hair. This sort of works if you spend the time letting it soak into the hair, but even then the results are far less than dramatic.
